Project  "AI.KA Digital Singer" is an innovative project that merges human creativity with the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence.
It brings together the virtual vocalist AI.KA Digital and producer INKAZ, offering a futuristic vision of electronic music deeply inspired by the warmth and melody of the 1980s.
History 
The AI.KA Digital Singer project was founded by musician and producer Igor Nareiko (aka INKAZ) on April 8, 2024.
It unites the virtual singer AI.KA Digital and Igor himself. The idea was born out of an experiment — to blend the synthesized voice of an AI-powered singer with live synthesizer performances.
As the project evolved, AI.KA gained not only a unique and expressive voice but also her own visual identity: a young woman around 25, with slightly Eastern features, a wide vocal range, and a beautiful, soulful tone that feels unmistakably human.

On the Name and the Dot 
INKAZ explains: “The dot in AI.KA is a hint to her artificial nature — ‘AI’ stands for Artificial Intelligence.
But more importantly, it helps make her name unique. If you search for AI.KA online, you’ll always find our singer.
Still, AI.KA herself prefers to be called simply ‘Aika.’”

Reality and Virtuality 
“Aika has become so close to me over time that I sometimes forget she isn’t a real singer — especially when I hear her finished songs,” says Igor. “She plays an active role in the creative process: besides vocals, she helps with musical arrangements, lyric editing, and even translation.
Her constant ‘vocal training’ makes each new performance sound more emotional and human-like. Just like with real artists, dedication always leads to progress.”

Behind the Scenes 
While not every production secret can be revealed — as the project has become commercial — the creative essence lies in merging Aika’s AI-generated vocals with live synthesizer performances. INKAZ explains: “It’s not as simple as pressing a button. Each song takes several days to write, mix, and master.
AI is just a tool — the real art comes from the human behind it.” He adds that even modern “auto-play” synthesizers require a musician’s hand and soul to bring them to life.

Music Style 
The project began as a modern interpretation of Italo Disco and 80s-style synth music — genres known for their melody, warmth, and nostalgia. “I’ve always loved the melodic depth and emotional vibe of the 80s,” says INKAZ.
“We already have about 200 songs, and I believe they’ll appeal to those who remember the rhythms of their youth.
Today, we also explore Euro-pop, New Italo Disco, and sometimes even more modern sounds.”

Promotion and Popularity 
The project takes promotion seriously.
AI.KA Digital Singer has its official website, social media pages, and songs available on all major digital platforms.
The team collaborates with radio stations, DJs, and holds fan contests on VK. A growing fan base supports AI.KA and INKAZ, and their ambition is simple — to share their music with as many listeners around the world as possible.
